You can also have a friend go over and say, "(insert guys name) do u like "insert your name)" and if it's yes then your friend can go ok,will you go out with her then, which if he likes you will probably be yes.
Well my question is: Are you friends with him? If you are it will make it alot easier to get to know him before you try to ask him out. But if I was in your situation I would try to be friends and flirt for a couple weeks. If he flirts back then you know you have a chance. Then either text, e-mail, or write him to find out if he wants to date. If you are really gutsy, then you should definitely ask him out face to face, that is always better.
