my annoying ex............................please help

i broke up with my boyfriend almost 2 month ago. At the start I thought he was pretty cute and sweet. But when we got together, he would constantly text me. I got really annoyed. Sometimes I tried to ignore his message, but he then would find another way to text me and made sure that I received it. At school he would follow me everywhere, from one spot to the other. When I couldn't take it anymore, i told him i only wanted to be friends, he just nods and walked off. It does not end there. Me and the girls would play handball down the courtyard. Some his mates would come along with us. He would follow them and play. This was his excuse to be near me. He would grab the ball and not passing back, before you know it the bell rang. When his mates weren't playing, he would stand there talking to someone. When I ask my friends or his friends a question, his mouth would always pop in. This was the point where my head was going to explode. My friends all decide to play handball on the other side of the court, making sure we were faraway from him. But the next thing you know, he's right there talking to his friend. He would try to catch my attention by walking through the game, laughing and talking out loud. What should I do? but not being to mean? BTW to make it worse, I might move up to his English class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! soooooooooo sorry, if this is to long! please help1
