What should I do?

that has happen to me to all the guys like my best friend emily but what i did is so he would notice me i went up to him and said hi and he said hi back befor long he asked me out on a date so just say hi and have fun with it ^_^

Talk to him and try to get to know him better. If you still like him after all that he says (not saying it will be anything bad, but you might find out you actually don't like him), try to become close to him. When you feel comfortable, tell him you like him! Good luck!
