james did love lily.but she didn't love him at first.so i would have to disagree.

Now that you mention it I do agree, but I still think the subtle songs fit them better.

Like "Almost There" and "Please Speak Well of Me" fit them in the music itself, rather than lyrics meaning.

I don't really know because I don't know the song, but I think that Lily's song after she starts dating James is Bang Bang Bang by Selena Gomez 'he's got more swagger than you' haha so true

Isn't that song more for loving someone who has self-confidence issues? There's no hint that Lily had any of those.
