I don't love or hate it. It's just a word, and it def ain't a fancy word for bisexual/polysexual.
One of my recent friend said he is pansexual. Though, he's mostly into women and I guess bestiality...with heavy bias against men. His words.
Now, people say pansexuality is inclusive to transexual people. However, I find that freaking dumb. First of all, if the transgendered person says they're male when they're born female, I just call that person a man. I can be bisexual and accept that. Saying something like "I'm pansexual. I like men, women, and trans people", that just feels like you're wiping out their identity. Adding trans people at the end there makes you sound like an arse because it's not a separate gender, alright? Pansexual is not a better term for bisexual. Bisexual means attracted to the same gender and opposite gender. It does not need to be "binary", but the while the Bi in Bisexual means two, the same gender and opposite gender really separates it into two groups which includes groups that aren't "cis" I guess. This also extends to heterosexual and homosexual. They may or may not care if the person is "cis".
So, let me draw a venn diagram. Polysexual includes bisexual and pansexual because they are attracted to multiple genders. Imo, pansexual is in a separate bubble from bisexual. Idk, but my definition of bisexual and pansexual is that pansexual might care less about what's between the legs (as in it plays no role). Though, tbh, it's a bit hard to explain. I just find the whole thing about separating transexual people as if they're a separate gender really aggravating. I don't feel like pansexual and bisexual ever really overlaps, but idk, maybe it could.
I sorta went into a rant but I'm just pissed about this whole pansexual and bisexual thing.

I'm pansexual; I love gals, guys and nonbinary people.

I'm mostly attracted to women and agender people though.
