I've never taken part in an active protest as such, but that's just how I am. I would, however, find other ways to support LGBT rights. I'm always happy to do things like sign petitions to help people get the rights they deserve, so I don't know if that counts! Basically, I probably wouldn't protest directly but would look for ways to support the brave people who do protest.
