I like to imagine they found their way back together. Sam and Fez were detours they needed to take to strengthen their bond. Season 8 has moments where both Jackie and Hyde revert back to 'hating' each other, but all these moments prove is how strong their chemistry/attraction is. There's still a little spark between them, and the romance will come full circle like it did before.
