The only reason why people won't choose Kikyou is because she dead.

If my beloved was revived... If she still wanted to live... then I wanted to be with her. Even if she was a clay doll, I would still love her and choose to be with her. What could affect me with choosing her beside not going to have "children"? In real life, you can live with a woman without having any child. Even I might have a "alive" woman but she still will never be not the one that I love. Her soul & her characteristic are all I care.

However, I wished Kikyou could less feel responsible with her duty after she was revived. She kept fighting all alone and it made me hurt :(
