Horror Movies Question

Is there any horror movies that disappointed you?

For me, it was Psycho and The Shinning. I heard about how they were such legendary must-see films. But when i watched both of them, i didn't find them scary. Especially Psycho. I thought it was almost boring.
I read the Shinning before seeing the film. It was nowhere near as good as the book, which added to my disappointment.

Also, The Exorcist. I thought it would be good or creepy, but it didn't do anything for me.

Dungeon Girl- it sucked so bad I don't recommend it at all
The human centipede- I hope nobody expects that demented crap to be good lol.
The Grudge 2- it was very laughable because it was so bad
The birds - I like watching it for a good laugh though

The Grudge 3 is even worse. My friends all say "You have to see The human centipede!" Why would i see coprophiliac porn? I'd want to get scared by a horror movie, not just grossed out.

I don't plan on watching the Grudge 3. And honestly the human centipede is more stupid and demented than gross in my opinion. The second is worse though so the first one is better. I heard there's a third one coming soon and I don't understand why.

I heard the same with the original Texas Chainsaw massacre, it could be because at that time it was scary but in my time, being the late 90's 2000's it's not as as scary. Anyways, the one I was disappointed in was Drag me to hell. Everyone was going on about how great and scary it was, I didn't find it to be either. Also The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Quarantine, The Blair witch project (that movie was so boring.), Cabin Fever, The last house on the left (the remake), Cry_wolf. I think that's it, there could be more. But this is all I could come up with right now.

I actually find the original TCM movies to be very funny. It can be a little creepy though, but not downright scary.

Scary movie 2. There was one part of that movie that pi**ed me off so much, I never want to watch it again. And it was one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen.

The Devil inside had the worst ending. Right when you think it's starting to get good, BAM! Over.
