Explain me something, please

I love Freddy Krueger more than I love Pizza and that means ALOT lol no seriously I really love the dude <3
Anyways, recently I read about this thing called "Freddy's Nightmares" and I think it's an old TV show or something?
I'm pretty sure I got it wrong but could anyone please explain to me WTH is this Freddy's Nightmares thingy?
Because if it'll give me more Freddy, I'll be rly rly happy xD

The series takes place after the first film. Meaning that he didn't temporarily die when Nancy sent him away, he just haunted the rest of the town (i think he actually did that every time they sent him away)

It's a good series. It shows the influence Freddy has over the whole town. His power makes the townspeople still have nightmares even when he's not around. And i like how some of the episodes explain about him, like some episodes show his trial and how he died, and another one has him killing everybody at his high school reunion.

It's my favorite show.

Logical explanation about what Freddy does after you kill him in the end of each movie xD And thanks, I'm so going to search it on the Internet now. I already watched the whole ANOES series, but let's face it, you never can have enough of Freddy xD
