………..Watchable, but nothing more.,
This third in the series is almost not part of the same franchise; OK,,, so there are the same main characters from the previous two and the so-called curse that is supposed to be attributed to the location where the murders took place (therefore how can it move to the USA just because the story needs it as a plot device?), other than that nothing much. I Kind of had a better feeling for this one coming out of the chute. I mean, after the sorryazz 2006 follow-up, I couldn’t see how it could get any worse!! <BOINK/> IT DID! OK, ,So it’s not as boring and tiresome as the sequel. But this 2009 follow-up which stars actress Shawnee Smith still leaves a LOT to be desired!Director Wilkins tries to do the same with the eerie and nasty feeling you had from the first flick. But for whatever reason he falls on his face. What does he have to work with?? Sorryazz- acting, bad Pathetic special effects, and a worn out plot, and the film just never picks up…IT NEVER seems to leave the ground. All of the cast of characters seem to be plucked from all horrific stereotypical clichéd scare flicks films which surely exceeded this mess., T he whole story plods along slower than your aunt Suzie when she’s driving in front of you Heck, most of the first hour, as far as I saw, only explained who the 4 main characters are, which I know could have been done in a few minutes if the director was awake! SOo much like the sequel, this third shot in the dark is nothing more than a string of boring, no thrill murders and the best part, No I mean the worst part of all is you know what’s coming. Same old formula rehashed over and over in every scene I have seen. I have seen more blood and guts in a WileE-Quixote Versus Road Runner cartoon! OH but an off-screen pulverization; which for most of us scare flick aficionados’ is the ultimate pay off and the only reason we sit with our buttocks going numb through tiresome background building sections and introductory necessities! I’m surprised this movie is getting the direct-to-DVD treatment and the second one had theater status. Although both are positively middle of the road mediocre IMHO. The end is a complete formality and they would have been better off to have just ended on a blank screen and a decent, well-produced sound-byte..

I didn't like it. They should have stopped after the 2nd movie. Even that was going to far IMO. It just seemed to stretch way to much. I own the first and second one though. I don't own the third, I refuse to.
