I've been flamed, spammed, cursed at, and even sent a virus via email just because I stated in a comment on YouTube that I like watching Hetalia with subs.
I personally don't have anything against FUNimation or anything like that. In fact, I sort of like Sealand's dub voice.
I know it's impossible to avoid a sub vs. dub war in ANY anime because whenever an anime gets released into the USA, there's always the need to either subtitle it or dub the anime for people to understand it better.
Fandom can't avoid it, but can't you people at least try to CONTROL it??
The attitudes of particular fans in the Hetalia fandom are practically one of the many reasons why some people HATE Hetalia.
Sometimes, people forget to credit the ORGINAL creators of Hetalia: Hidekaz Himaruya, and Studio DEEN (Instead, they give FUNimaion the credit for the show)
Then, some fans even go the point of insulting the seiyuus and the voice actors, like "_____'s voice is boring, creepy, dumb etc" or "I hate ____'s voice" and much worse.
And then some people even have the nerve to put up Anti- dub/sub videos on YouTube, Facebook, etc.
to influence other fans to side with them and join the war.
One time, I scrolled down to read the comments on a video to find that nearly every comments stating that they like both sub and dub of Hetalia was flagged as spam. Comments typed in japanese were also given the same treatment.
It's okay if you want to defend/support your side but try not to insult others please? Everyone has their own opinion,so please respect that.
I even saw a comment from a particular user on YouTube:
If you're new to Hetalia:
Watch the dub, I don't find the sub good at all. (Secretly, no one does.)

NO ONE does...? Are you kidding me? I believe you are forgetting the first and original fandom of Hetalia, which is, the Japanese fandom.
Think about what you would do if you were in Himaruya's POV....
You're just surfing the net as usual when you see that people from all over the world are having heated arguments because of YOUR work.
Hetalia is meant for people to ENJOY, not to start a fan war.
Just like the saying goes....
"Make PASTA, not war."
....And yet, here we are....
I love Hetalia too, but I'm not American, so I can't really comprehend this fandom's way of thinking. But even so, If you've got nothing good to say about other's opinons, then kindly STFU, ne?
Please try to reconsider all this and Thank You for taking your time to read this, if you ever did.
