Hetalia Question

Did you know that Busby's chair is a real thing?

It is, for those of you who don't know. It's housed at the Thirsk Museum in North Yorkshire. Needless to say, I'm frightened.

I'm not sure this is common knowledge, but the actual story is here: www.thirskmuseum.org/chair.htm.

I always believed that it's based on something real. I did not bother to check it out on the web, but now I'm interested. It's still kinda fascinating to have verified that it is indeed a real thing. I want to visit that museum someday. Is it true that it is hanged on the wall? (still got to check on it.) Too bad. I was planning to bring along certain persons when the time comes that I can get to visit that museum in UK, but I think it will be just pointless. I guess I'd better resort to some local witchcraft (a lot of black magic users are available for service here in our province if it's curses we're talking about. No, I'm not kidding. There's still such profession in the rural area. I wonder if UK also has anything like it nowadays.)

If you haven't checked it yet, it is hung on the wall. In a little nook. It makes it look rather ominous.

Even thought I only heard of Busby's chair in Hetalia, I already knew it was real considering the fact that majority of what's in Hetalia is based off of reality from the past and such.

Well, yes.

Most things in Hetalia are actual things, like the column given to Japan by Italy.

Most things in Hetalia are quite symbolic as well; Norway's curl represents the fjords, Ukraine's large breasts represent the fertility of the Ukrainian land. Most things in Hetalia are 100% true.

Actually I knew about the chair before Hetalia. Apparently a waitess accidently sat in it because she was tired and later died in a car crash on her way home. O_O
