books! coz' they have more detail and they are the things that started harry potter, not the movies! They are also gripping and full of suspence (i think i spelled tht wrong but i dont care) and books are always better than the moviesover a year ago
I agree with heshallbemine. But I don't HATE them! The movies were ultimately made for young audiences, so it makes sense I'm not enthralled. I am also not used to British-made films, so expressions and things were puzzling to me.over a year ago
seems inspite of all the arguments, articles, debates and videos describing on how bad twilight and bella swan is..
they have more number of fans than harry potter and hermione granger....
come on..
beat that saga with a really bad message...

I have always finished reading a Harry Potter book or left the theater after watching a Harry Potter movie feeling happy, because I always knew there would be another adventure ahead of me to read/watch...but now that...its over...

Follow me if you agree with me.... Do you agree with me that this club is better than the Harry Potter vs Twilight because in HP vs T there are too many haters chewing u out if u say a single good thing about HP?

"Does it make a difference, being a Muggle-born?"
Snape hesitated. His black eyes, eager in the greenish gloom, moved over the pale face, the dark red hair.
"No, he said. "It doesn't make any difference"

Harry watched Hagrid getting redder and redder in the face as he called for more wine, finally kissing Professor McGonagall on the cheek, who, to Harry’s amazement, giggled and blushed, her top hat lopsided. - Philosopher's stone

There's a video on the fansite called 'Hitler doesn't like how Harry Potter ends'. It's hilarious! I recommend watching it. If you cannot find it, you can always search on youtube. Trust me, it's worth watching!

One year to the day since our installment of our most favourite series came out.
One year to the day since we all cried.
One year to the day since we saw our childhood die infront of us..
One year to the day since the Potterheads proved their worth.
One year to the day since the Potterheads showed we would be here until the very end.
One year to the day since we knew that there will be no more waiting for the new part.
One year to the day since Deathly Hallows Part 2's release.

Yeah, yeah. I'm glad Slytherin won, not only because it's my House but because it proves Gryffindors aren't always the best and main House.over a year ago
I'm in gryffindor too which surprised me when i was sorted because i thought i'd be sorted into ravenclaw but anyway i just wanted to check something with all you guys, my house points were reset to 0 has something gone dodgy with my computer or is that supposed to happen?over a year ago
yeah i'm in gryffindor too. i wasn't that satisfied, but i agree with koolamelia, it shows that Gryffindor is not the always the best and the most main.over a year ago
@toppotternerd noo your computer has not gone dodgy..it's simply that since the house cup ceremony is over, we have our house point reset to 0 in order to acquire new house point to contribute to the next house cup ceremonyover a year ago

Book, hmm...It's been a while since I've read any. And my favorite movie...I love all of them, some more than others. I would have to say The Prizoner of Azkaban. Though I love David Tennant as Barty Crouch Jr. and Imelda Staunton as Delores Jane Umbridge. Oh, David...over a year ago

You get a medal once you've contributed a certain amount of stuff to the club (like images, picks etc.) and if your contributions get fanned by others, you'll get the medal faster, but in any case it will take a while.over a year ago
Hary Potter is one of the best book seis ever~! Okay I hate Twilight, So anybody who can go to the movies, try this.[ my parents won't allow me to alone, and they don't have time.]over a year ago
1. Go To a Twilight movie.[ i know, i would probably almost die too] 2. Sit down and wait till it's full and till the movie starts. 3. a few minutes after the theaters full, and a few minutes afte the move started, stand up really tall 4. shout as loud as you can, "Avada Kedavra!" 4. un as fast as you can out hte movu=ie theater. this works well w/ a friend.over a year ago
^lol. My friend saw a twilight poster and Edward was on it (we were at a mall) so she thought it would be a good idea to be really obnoxious how Harry Potter was so much better. I couldn't help but join in.over a year ago
When i'd finished reading the books (i read the books after watching the films) I cried my eyes out and before harry potter it used to take a lot to make me cry now, after just watching several videos of the speeches from the HP & DH II premier i've cried my eyes out all over again, i an i'm not afraid to say ye i do cry at anything potter now because Harry Potter was a true phenomonal that deserve's tears :)

I have a question for those of you who are on Pottermore. So far I only have the activities for the first book available. I was wondering if this is true for everybody, or if maybe I missed something that I have to do before I can move onto the next book. Can anybody tell me?

who is your favorite character? mine is severus snape...for the longest time i was convinced he was evil, and then...bam! it turned out he was this brave guy who continually saved hp's life, even though he looked was a lot like his dad, jp, who was snape's past tormentor. all for his love of lily. i cried when i saw him crying over her dead body in hp&dh part 2.

i watched all the movies when i was younger and everyone was like read the books read the books and i kept putting it off and then i staerted reading them in september and i'm so happy i did i couldn't put them down i'd finished them all by the end of september and thats what's turned me into the HP fan i am today, now there's hardly anything i don't know about harry potter and i don't know what my life would be without it :)over a year ago
the books are definitely better than the books, and i would know since i watched all the movies like a million times and i'm reading the series for the third time. But i do like the last movie better than the last book because it is more dramatic, and the book's description of Moldy Voldy's death was way too fleeting.over a year ago
We're coming up on the one year mark. One year without Potter. And what a year it has been. "It seems only yesterday" that we read the first book for the first time. "Thirteen years it's been" and here we all are, adults now, having left the magic of childhood in our pasts. And yet, it has never truly left us. Not as long as we are Potterheads.
