Eh, too soon to tell. I'm kinda over it, and doubt that they could actually do a faithful book adaptation, but could possibly be sucked in by a good cast.

I don't have the network it'll air on, so it'll probably be a case of hearing other people's views about it and deciding whether to buy it on DVD (if it becomes available on DVD) or possibly even aired on a free-to-view UK channel :P I'm kind of mixed on my opinion of this series too. Part of me is optimistically hoping it'll be a chance to adapt the books more faithfully without all the alterations and omissions which annoyed me too much, but a more cynical part is just saying "cash grab!".

It's a recently-rebranded HBO Max, which is owned by Warner Bros - so it'll be whatever service WB sends their stuff to in your country. In the US, it's HBO/Max, in Canada it's Crave. But wherever Game of Thrones is for you, that's probably where the HP series will pop up.

I think Game of Thrones was on Sky, which I don't have. Should have guessed.

I don't know...... As of right now, I'm more disappointed about the fact that they decided to just remake it, instead of making a spin-off of like The Marauders, of Young Tom Riddle, or ANYTHING other than just remaking the movies into a series only 20 years after the original ones.

Also, like LowriLorenza89 said, I do have a feeling it's more about cash grab than to try to be faithful to the books, which also annoys me very much.

This is the first I've heard about it. To be honest, if it's on a streaming service, I probably won't end up seeing it for some time yet. I'm naturally curious as a fan, but at the same time it seems too soon for a remake.
