I really think that Potter shouldn't say that to his kid. The main point was to unite all houses. Potter should have just old his son to accept it, for every house is just as good as any other one.

I'm a little surprised they still have the houses at Hogwarts. Didn't they learn anything? You aren't supposed to seperate everyone because then they will fight, etc.

That's right, let's burn the sorting hat. Somebody get Crabbe to cast a fiendfyre and burn that evil pointy speaking freaky hat!!!
