Harry Potter What are the 'deathly hallows'?

Since every title has something important from the storyline in it (obviously - duh! lol), I wanted to know what everybody thinks the 'deathly hallows' in book seven refers to? If you already know, through whatever means, please preface your response with a spoiler alert. Thanks.

I'm thinking the 'deathly hallows' refers to some buildings or areas where Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters tortured and murdered their victims. This is where the final showdown will take place. At least that's what I have in my head.

I understand the actual literal definition of the words, but, for discussion's sake, I was thinking of it more in a sense of a physical meaning to the wizarding community. Thanks for your response.
