BlackHound said:
In the movie, yes. She's clearly dead; she's not struggling, nor is she breathing or blinking, and she doesn't react when Hermione blasts Greyback out of the window. In the book, her fate is more vague. HP Wiki lists her as dead although it is pointed out in the entry that in the book it is implied that she lived.

JKR may clear this up with Pottermore.

Although they made it seem like she was dead in the films, in the book she was still breathing. Professor Trelawney and Hermione Granger saved her in time. Also, answering oter questions, because Fenrir Greyback was a human at he time, she would not be a werewolf. Like Bill Weasley, Lavender Brown would have wolfish traits. So my answer is Lavender Brown is pretty much alive and has a wolfish manner.

Lavender Brown did die in the movie because Fenrir Greyback bit her, but in the books it doesn't say anything about Lavender dying.

Yes. There's a scene in DHP2 where you see some dude sucking some girl's blood. I didn't notice until I bought the dvd but...
the girl is Lavender. You can see her hairband.
But I don't know about the book...

She does die in the film version, whereas in the books her fate was never confirmed. It's likely that she was saved from death due to Hermione's and Trelawney's attempts to save her and she is seen "feebly stirring" after Greyback has been beaten. It's difficult to tell and to be honest, Lavender Brown's eventual fate is something J K Rowling should have confirmed.
