I never questioned this. Her character wasn't lessened in any way by not having a boyfriend. Actually I respected her more because she didn't. There's more to life than having a boyfriend. Luna had interests and passions others didn't understand, she expressed them completely unshaded and she didn't compromise herself or her personality for a guy.
Exactly! Being in a couple doesn't necessarily equal happiness, and there's nothing wrong with being single! What happened to enjoying characters as CHARACTERS, and not always having to "ship" them with someone?
She's a minor character in YOUR opinion, but not necessarily in the opinion of other fans. Dumbledore and Severus are central to the story, without them, there's not even a story, so yes, they are main characters. But then, that's just my opinion. ;)
snape nad dumbledore? i mean the story for me is a little bit changed because it needs to be voldemort beacause hes the one who is interested about dumbledores wand and place
I would have loved to read about Luna in the "19yrs later"part as the other six(harry-ron-hermione-ginny-neville&malfoy)were mentioned. However,I like Luna single. With her unique beliefs and perceptions,SHE IS BETTER OFF WITHOUT ANY GUY!!!

Well, she does eventually marry Rolf Scamander, but she marries much later than the others.
