Are the movies better then the books? And are the movies the same as the books. I've only read the books and want to know which is better.

In my opinion, i think the first two movies are most like the books. They also have the best Dumbledores. xD

In my opinion the books are better. The first two movies were great and they were a lot like the book. The thing is, each book is longer than the one beofore it, and movies can't last for ever, so in the last ones I did not find many things which I loved from the books, I can even say I was a bit dissapointed, because I was really looking forward to seeing some of that stuff...Other that that they're good, the special effects are amazing and very well done, the cast is also pretty good, not only Harry, Hermione and Ron, but teachers, which are played by great actors and actresses....
Anyway, this is just my opinion, you should watch them and see what you think....

The movies are great but the books are so much better. At least when I'm reading HP books is like I'm in the story, I can really be part of Harry Potter's world. Seeing the movies is different, is like you're seeing the things from the outside. And you can't know the more little details if you just see the movies and sometimes they even change the story a bit. So I think that in the transformation from book to movie, a little bit of magic is lost in the way.

the books are way better than the mvie they tell yoyu things that the movies will never tell you or won't tell you and the movies are kind of a book translated into a funny epiloge and thats why it is better the books ........ :D
