do u think that an alive person could dissapear behind the Ministry of Magic's curtain?

I personally believe it was kind of a portal. I think the dead lurks behind it. And if you're alive and go into it...you wouldn't come back or you wouldn't come back right. Why else would only Luna and Harry hear the voices? Same as only they see Thestreals. (sorry for the spelling)
