Harry and Hermione  best answer

MissKnowItAll said:
I can't speak for every Romione shipper out there, but these are my reasons:

1. They have a passionate love. There are two types of couples: docile (calm, never fighting etc) and impassioned. I personally prefer couples that are intense. They don't just love each other. They really fall into it. It's exciting, firey. There is just so much potential between them.

Sure, they bicker a lot. So do my parents. They are still deeply in love, and a few spats every now and again just strengthens that.

2. Opposites attract. Life is more exciting when with someone who is your opposite. Again, it's that passion between them. It's not just a relationship, they have a special bond between them- something I can't begin to explain- that comes from the fact that they are opposite in most interests, but the same core personality.

3. The way they are with each other. Hermione doesn't feel pressure to be 100% perfect when she's with Ron. Ron can relax a bit and show a side of him that is...softer. Usually, he's a bit of a goofball, and she's a 'nerd'. But, with each other, they don't have to be anything.

4. It's a private kind of love. They aren't lovey-dovey all the time. I like that- those kind of couples are sickening. It's the other stuff I love about them. The don't need to compliment endlessly or never fight to show they are a couple. They are so comfortable with each other. I can picture that, if you were to spend time with them, the only hints would be stolen glances ad quiet smiles. That's love, and it's strong enough to not need kisses all the time to show it.

At the end of the day, though, it's all about whether you can feel it. I can feel something with Romione, but not with Harmony. I can feel something with Klaine, but not with Kum. Etc etc. Individual taste and all that.

I'd also like to add that Hermione doesn't 'settle' for Ron. He's who she loves. Speaking as someone quite like Hermione, I can say that it is quite endearing to find someone who's more laidback. The fact that there is no pressure to be any certain thing is what is so important to their relationship.

There you go. My reasons. I have not bashed any other ship, as far as I can see, so if you want to debate with me, please respect the Good ship Romione. :)

Years after the series is over and people still wonder this?
Okay.. people like Romione because their relationship was developed in the books. Ron and Hermione aren't always mad at each other, in fact in the later books, when Ron had matured he is often sweet to Hermione and compliments her.

They often bicker and get frustrated at each other but only in things that honestly no platonic friends care about. That's why they fight more than Harry and Hermione do -- because Ron cares about her more than Harry does.

In the books there are lots of hints - and they aren't THAT subtle if you really read it - that shows how much they harbor feelings for each other. I won't get into examples because there's so much of them and you can go read them for yourselves. (Hint: the fourth book was majorly filled with Romione)

Now don't go and say I'm a Romione troll wandering off here. Because I'm not. I adore Harry and Hermione, and I prefer them more than Romione or any other ship involving Hermione. But a huge part of that involves the chemistry Dan and Emma has on and off screen. Maybe if I only read the books and not watch the movies, I'd be a Romione shipper - or a Dramione. I don't know.

no if u read only the books but dont watch the movie too u'll understand how harmony works, cause until HBP i was damn sure it was going to be harmony!

i agree itsnaddia! (maybe except with the part that Ron cares more about her than Harry, i think they care about her the same, just in different ways!).

I happen to be a Romione fan and, yes they have fought but it all ends well in the end. Dont go hating on me cause yes I am a Harmony fan too, a bigger one than I am romione, but itsnaddia makes a great argument, (though Harry cares about Hermione just as much) no need to hate. Its true their relationship develops throughout the series, making it a great shipping, but Harmony still pwns Romione

That's exactly why! Because they always get mad at each other, people can see that they are TOTALLY meant for each other!

That doesn't make any sense. Have you ever been in a real relationship? If both people are constantly fighting like that it never works at all. Heron=fail

^ So the book says. But shipping Harmione isn't solely about taking things for face value. It's about seeing deep into the HHr relationship. So the book says they're married with kids. That doesn't mean we should accept it because it's written, it doesn't mean we should change our views, and it DAMN SURE doesn't mean that they SHOULD be married or that they belong together.

But hey, if that's how you feel, then cool. You're 100% entitled. Just as we r. As long as we have respect for each other's opinions, I don't see why we can't be open to discuss any of this without arguing.

Well, first of all, this question is a bit bias.
But, people like this couple because in the books they get mad at each other over simple things such as jelousy, or assignments. Really we just see their love blossom over the book series.
Thats why.
I am a H/Hr fan.
But I prefer Romione <3

That's sort of the point. Hermione and Ron are exact opposites, so they are really good for each other. Harry and Hermione are just friends, you can tell by how comfortable they are with each other. Spoiler: Harry and Ginny get married anyway, as do Ron and Hermione. Plus they have kids anyway.

I agree. I mean, I do like Ron, but in the big scheme of things, he is the least important/necessary of the three. I mean, there are moments when he comes in handy, but overall, things are mostly accomplished by Harry or Hermione.

I dont know. Because that's what JKR put so there is people who are strong believers thinking thats how it is and suppose to be. I dont really think about it. But i think the main reason is because its in the book written by the author herself so why fight with it. (but i dont agree. I luv harmony!)
