Sure Joker influenced her from the beginning, but she made the choice to become his punching bag. Harlene went into her internship at Arkham with the wrong idea completely. If she hadn't she wouldn't have saw Joker as more than a patient to begin with and kept it completely professional. Insanity comes from the inside out. It has to be there from the beginning. She has been tricked into loving the Joker and therefore taking up his personality. With an evil boyfriend (if you could even call him that), and best friend Ivy. Harley wants to learn about the depths of criminal mind (because of her father) but then found herself slowly getting twisted by The Joker. She has her moments where she's tried to be normal but the fact is that may never be. She'll just always be crazy. But Harley is more humaine than the Joker...
