(Rachel and Kurt were in the hallway, looking at pamphlets sent to them from NYADA. They were both excited about auditioning for one of New York's best colleges for performing arts.)
Rachel: I've been waiting for this moment since my dads took me to see Celine Dion's world tour, "Let's Talk About Love". Kurt, we have to get in.
Kurt: New York is so glorious. It's like just yesterday we were there, prepping for Nationals...(He comes into realization about what happened at Nationals.) And then we lost because you had to leave your mark on my brother's face--
Rachel: Now's not the time to discuss this. We have to make it. We just have to!
Kurt (raising a finger): Hold it right there, woman child. Of course they're going to choose us. I mean, we're both equally talented.
Rachel: Yes, we are...except your voice lacks in the years of training that I've had.
Kurt (rolling his eyes): And you lack in any form of patience.
Rachel: True.
(They walked down the hall and had a discussion together.)
Rachel: So...prepping for New York is going to be a lot of work.
Kurt: Of course it is. I mean, I have to sort all of my things at home, pay for plane tickets, get a place in New York to live--
Rachel: I thought you agreed that we'd be roommates.
Kurt: I thought Finn told me that you snore.
Rachel: Of course not. Snoring is not ladylike.
Kurt: Plus you tend to work on singing vocals at 6:30 p.m. every night like you've been telling me for the past one hundred Glee club meetings that we've had, and I wouldn't want to go to sleep to someone yelling in my ear.
Rachel: Oh, forget you then!
Kurt: Maybe you don't know me that well. I'm Kurt Hummel, and I would appreciate a nice beauty sleep every night, okay?
Rachel: What's in it for Rachel Berry?
Kurt: You have enough, don't you think?
Rachel (mumbling to herself): I'm not spoiled.
Kurt (checking his phone): Well, looks like someone has plans for me tonight.
Rachel: Blaine? What did he say?
Kurt: Why do you want to know?
Rachel: He's asking for a booty call, isn't he?
Kurt (scoffs): Please, like you know what that even is. You and Finn have hardly interacted with each other for the past few weeks.
Rachel: You're one to talk. You haven't talked to him in months!
Kurt (silent for a minute): Oh yeah, I remember. (The actor that plays him, Chris Colfer, gets out of character and whispers to the side.) F*cking Ryan and his continuity.
(Chris Colfer changes back into character in a quick second. Rachel shook her head in disappointment.)
Rachel: Things have been getting distant, though. Ever since I've been preparing to go to NYADA, there hasn't been much of a spark. What about you and Blaine?
Kurt: Other than this text, nothing. I'd be very busy, too. Sometimes even he would lose interest.
Rachel: Terrible shame for the both of us.
Kurt: Totally.
(Later that day, Blaine was invited to Kurt's house to help each other study.)
Blaine: Did you find the answer to number 15 yet?
Kurt (flirtacious): No cheating, remember?
Blaine (rolling his eyes): We're not in school, Kurt.
Kurt (let down): Oh...okay.
(As Blaine continued to work, Kurt tried his best to get him interested. He runs his fingers up and down Blaine's arm.)
Kurt: You know, my dad doesn't get back home for a while, and Finn is over at Rachel's house. We're all alone. You don't mind if we play a little...house?
Blaine: Dude, we're in high school. That baby stuff has passed us already. Grow up.
(Upset, Kurt continued working on his homework.)
Blaine: Hey, do you know what--
Kurt: No!
Blaine (to himself): What's with him?
(At Rachel's house, she and Finn are working on applications for college and doing homework. Rachel smiles at Finn, waving her fingers at him.)
Finn (confused): Uh...hey, Rach.
Rachel (flirtacious): Say it again.
Finn: What?
Rachel: Say my name, Finny bear.
Finn: Uh, I'd rather not.
(Rachel crawls closer to Finn on her bed, and tried tousling his hair.)
Rachel: Come on, you know you can't resist...
Finn: Actually, I kinda can for now.
(Silence.)
Rachel: Ah, screw it.
(The next day, Finn and Kurt are hanging out by the lockers.)
Kurt: You having problems, too?
Finn: Yeah, Rachel's been acting weird lately.
(The boys are silent for a minute.)
Kurt: So...what about?
Finn: Why are you acting so random?
Kurt: What do you mean?
Finn: Well, you're acting like two people in an elevator, talking small talk.
Kurt: Well, we hardly spent more than 5 minutes with each other...if that makes any sense.
Finn: Truthfully, it doesn't.
Kurt: I knew you'd say that.
(Silence.)
Finn: Seriously, Rachel keeps wanting to get under the covers with me. The first time we had sex, I threw up after she pounced on me when she tried to stick my...(He makes a noise.) up in her...(He makes another noise.), you know?
Kurt (silent for a second): Ew.
Finn: Exactly! I can't take it anymore.
Kurt: Well, I've been trying to get Blaine in the mood, but he seems to ignore me sometimes. I don't get why.
Finn: Maybe it's your reenactments of old romance musicals.
Kurt: Shut it, Finn!
Finn: What? Every time I try to sleep, all I hear is your opera-like voice when you're trying to do it. That's sick.
Kurt: What's sicker is you and Rachel joining fat lips right in front everyone, and you jizzing your pants every time she gets on you late at night!
(Silence. The two stare at each other and lean on the lockers again.)
Kurt: God, we have issues, do we?
Finn: Blaine and Rachel have done something to us, I bet.
Kurt: Damn the two of them.
Finn: Or it could be just us.
Kurt: Either one.
Well, what did you think? I hope you like it!

Where it began
I can't begin to knowin
But then I know it's growin strong
Was in the spring
And spring became the summer
Whod have believed you'd come along
Hands, touchin hands
Reachin out
Touchin me
Touchin you
Sweet caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
But now I
Look at the night
And it don't seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurtin runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when I'm with you
Warm, touchin warm
Reachin out
Touchin me
Touchin you
Sweet caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
Oh, no, no
Sweet caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
