"Okay guys. What were we discussing last week?"
Rachel raised her hand. "West Side Story."
"Correct. Auditions will start after school today. The list of roles will be posted on the bulletin board by the auditorium."
I raised my hand. "Where will the auditions be held?"
"The auditorium."
-after Glee Club-
I went to my locker. As I was gathering books for my next class, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Rachel.
"Are you going to audition for West Side Story?"
"I don't know. Why?"
"I was just curious." She was silent for a few seconds. "You should audition. You're really good."
"Thanks. Now that you mention it, I guess I will audition."
"Great! You should audition for the lead role."
"I will. Thanks for the suggestion."
"Don't mention it." She walked away.
I closed my locker. I turned to see Artie talking to the goth Asian girl I saw him sitting next to at glee club. I approached them. "Artie, where's Spanish?"
He turned to me. "I'll take you there."
"You're Sol, right", asked the goth Asian girl.
"Yeah. And you are?"
"I'm Tina." She extended her arm. I shook it. The bell rung. "I've got to get to History. Bye!" She left.
"So...is Tina your girlfriend", I asked looking ay my feet.
"No. I mean, we used to date."
"Oh."
"Let's go to Spanish." I followed him.
"So do-", before I could get out my question, a red-headed woman came up to me.
"Sol Simons?"
"Yes."
"Follow me." I followed her.
-In the Guidance Conselor's office-
On our way to her office, she told me her name was Ms. Pillsbury and she was the school's guidance counselor. "This won't take long, Sol. I just want to ask you a few questions."
"Okay. Ask away."
She asked me the usual questions any conselor would on your first day of high school. Then she asked, "Are you having any troubles with the students?"
I thought about Santana. "No."
"That's wonderful. If anything happens, you can come talk to me."
"Will do." Just as I was about leave, Mr. Schue walked in.

Where it began
I can't begin to knowin
But then I know it's growin strong
Was in the spring
And spring became the summer
Whod have believed you'd come along
Hands, touchin hands
Reachin out
Touchin me
Touchin you
Sweet caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
But now I
Look at the night
And it don't seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurtin runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when I'm with you
Warm, touchin warm
Reachin out
Touchin me
Touchin you
Sweet caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
Oh, no, no
Sweet caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
I believed they never could
Sweet caroline
I can't begin to knowin
