If Puck doesn't meet Laurel will there be a chance for Sam to make Quinn her girlfriend?

I mean at first Quinn and Puck are a couple and Puck met Laurel and I think he dumped Quinn.So there's a chance for Sam to make Quinn his girlfriend.
