What did Sue's sister die from?

First of all, careful what you put as the heading in an answer. At the time you posted this, the episode was just starting on the West Coast. Several people still haven't seen it yet. Warn that it's a spoiler next time, please.

Second of all, Jean died from pneumonia, which is a respiratory infection (and certainly not cancer).

She died from Pneumonia. Sue said that people with downs syndrome rarely live past 35, and Jean was already in her 50's.
P.S. I don't know where this cancer theory came from, but she did not die from cancer.
