Glee Question

Season 2 ends at Nationals in New York?

I read an article where Ryan Murphy said what is happening in Glee season 2! And he says that the second season ends at Nationals in New York! That means that "New Directions" will win in the Regionals the next season, right?-(and the writers are not sure about New Directions winning in Nationals?)
