Sorry for being biased again but I think Sooyoung does sound good in the song. Her Boom Boom Boom part at the end is particularly well-done.

think what you want, but i'm really trying NOT to be biased here. but vinxinc said everything. her voice sounds extremely beautiful, it looks like she improoved A LOT since "the boys". whenever she was singing, i was like: "why don't you have more lines?" Heck, even Yuri had more lines and she sucks at japanese(sorry, Yuri i love you but it's true)...so unfair, imo
seriously, i noticed such a difference in her voice ..it's more pure, powerful and sexy. i might sound crazy when i say this, but maybe it's easier for us, sooyoungsters, to notice such things xD

as for the dance, i think she was mostly at the back, but she was still in the middle for 2 times. and i think 3 or 4 times at the front..i'm not sure about this, i need to see the dance version again

my second choise would be Tiffany ,btw. she also improoved in her singing. and she even did a high note. how awesome is that? =)

well Yuri had 1 more shared line and Yuri usually got lines that suit her low and husky vocal while Sooyoung's voice fits in lines that require a high and somewhat fragile vocal. So you can't really compare Sooyoung and Yuri.
I think the issue here is that Jessica and Sunny also have similar voices to Sooyoung, plus they're technically better so SM usually goes for the safe choices. But still what the heck? Jessica sings every 10 seconds in the song...

Well here is how I see it

Taeyeon- not much there, I remember saying that Taeyeon lacks a presene to her while she isn't singing and this video showed. I cared more for everyone else except her. Her dancing couldn't even get my attention. Granted it was the production but it shows that Taeyeon is almost invisible to the group when she isn't singing

Jessica- Freakin stole the show if you ask me, more lines and lots of face time. Not hating or whatever but even when she wasn't singing I couldn't help but notice her, her outfit might have helped

Sunny- No bias but she is improving a lot in her dance and she sang great, did I notice her yes, but she still needs to do something about her voice to not make it look so cutey like

Tiff-Great vocals, her persona in the music video I don't know seemed kinda arrogant to me. I felt like she was showing off a bit in the video I didn't like her attitude at all but her voice was great dancing....it is Tiffany

Hyo- well she sang and it was fine her dancing was great she even got a little solo time so good for her. Like Yuri she wasn't really there a lot

Yuri-same with Hyo wasn't there a lot

Sooyoung- Her voice is like Sunny to me where it can high pitched but sound cutey. Jessica has a high pitch voice but it doesn't sound cute. I think she did a great job but I didn't care too much for her voice because it sounds similar to sunny. I had my bros listen to the audio with the mv and they could hardly tell the difference between sunny and sooyoung. I can say she seemed more confident in this mv but not too confident like Tiff

Yoona- She actually can sing a song that matches her voice and her dancing was good

Seohyun- Great voice not much on dancing, she lacked a presence in this mv too.

I pick YOONA because I think she looks good in the video. That's my opinion.

I think that sooyoung improved the most. Her singing was very good @̤̥̣̈̊̇и̲̮̣̥̅̊ƌ̲̣̣̣̥ more powerfull then the other mvs on their album. Her voice sounded more like jessica @̤̥̣̈̊̇и̲̮̣̥̅̊ƌ̲̣̣̣̥ sunny bit she sound a way lot better. She dances in rythem @̤̥̣̈̊̇и̲̮̣̥̅̊ƌ̲̣̣̣̥ sang in rythem too. She is in the middle for 3 or 4 times @̤̥̣̈̊̇и̲̮̣̥̅̊ƌ̲̣̣̣̥ mostly in the back but she was marvelous in this mv since she rocked in japanese!!! GO SOOYOUNG!!!

Well, I do like her, but Im not biased . I t based on my senses. For me, her dancing improved, her eyes looks more sexier than before, her dance is smoother and I know that because I love her, Plus, Her voice becoming good and gooder in this mv ! I know shes practicing this and shes done her best ! Improve it ! I know you can do it, Dont let mind control you because nothing impossible, practice makes perfect ! Never give up !

her Sunny and Sooyoung improved the most. Yoona and Sooyoung finally has a song that suits their voices. Sunny danced better her then ever in The Boys
