As much as I liked Animated Egon, the real life Spengler was humanly more related to me... without the PHD and collection of spores and fungus...lol, and of course, the passing of Harold Ramis this year, made it all the easier to choose... I will miss him... though, I admire RGB Egon, because he has Janine almost always after him! :D

Real Ghostbusters' Egon had more character development, but that's just the one of the advantages of a TV series over a movie series. However, I don't believe any other actor could have done "Egon" justice as a live action character.
