Overwhelming dissatisfaction and I haven't even watched season 8 (like I'm wayyy behind...like season 2 way behind) and I'm disappointed. I've just heard things.

I'm kinda relived that everyone I loved died before GOT had a chance to completely ruin them. And that I get to rewatch the good parts now and choose my own stopping point without having to wonder what fresh hell awaits in the next episode.

Honestly, the more I think about it the happier I am with it.
I've had time to think and process it. I'm actually really happy with the road each character took.
I love that GoT didnt go on with like 20 episodes a season like a lot of TV out there to exploit fans. It dipped out with less episodes and a more concise story that wasn't prolonged for the sake of profitable gain.

Do I have niggles with the last season in particular? Of course! But as a whole, absolutely nothing compares in television in terms of scale and depth so I feel so happy to have been able to experience this show in its time.

Everything made sense to me when you pick it apart. I appreciate the throwbacks and links so much.

I feel sad that it's over. But I am honestly so happy I found a show I could escape to and enjoy right ro the very end.

@zan i highly recommend watching the whole thing for yourself. Everything pans out for a valid reason if you pay attention to seasons of buildup. It is unconventional and I love that.

My interest in the show was killed after Season 7 so I didn't even expected anything mind blowing like previous seasons. I knew DnD are not talented enough to carry the show without Martin's writing. I just watched to know the ending and there were few things I liked but overall it was disappointing.

It's weird. I loved the show at one point but my interest kinda faded after S7. Because I once loved it, I was hoping it'd have an amazing ending, like Breaking Bad, so that was disappointing. But, I don't feel heartbroken or empty either.

Something's missing. It doesn't feel like it's over. Too many unanswered questions.

Maybe I had to high exoectations but I was so pissed that they ended up with making Dani turn evil .... I had higher hopes for her character :(

^Dany has been evil for awhile lol

Anyway it was a very poor adaptation that got worse with age and I only finished it to see how the books would end. I'm glad it's finally over.

^Would love to hear how she was evil before season 8. Killing rapists and slave traders is not the same as killing civilians.

The ending was a slap in the face to all the fans of the show. Would've been pissed if this was 10 months ago, but I'm still stuck with the feeling of dissatisfaction.
