I knew it'd be below par when it was announced that it there would only be two final seasons, because something that intricate, involving so many characters, plots and sub-plots cannot be rushed, else you end up with with an unsatisfactory conclusion. but honestly, I thought they'd do a little better than they did. But it turned out worse than I imagined. I mean - Bran???

As soon as he went beyond the Wall, he became a non-entity character, IMO - a space filler as opposed to a character you care about. I couldn't have cared less if the Night King had killed him - especially after what he did to Hodor. Why the eff didn't he go and live in a flipping tree like his predecessor? And I'll bet that the evil little s*** knew all long how it was going to go down in the end.

Too fast for show logic and reasons...

The main issue was pacing.
I don't have an issue with character decisions. My only issue is pacing.

*stares at camera for 30 full seconds*

What do you mean, Zeppie?! It's the final season, they had to wrap everything up quickly! There was no time to waste!

The same about being disappointed.

But anyway, I enjoyed some of it and I definitely don't think it's the worst shit ever, it's still a big show I just hate when things doesn't make much sense, when characters are protected with way too much plot armor because we love those characters. But at least it's funny to make fun of stupid things in the show with friends.

S7 was a disappointment as well so I honestly wasn't that excited going into S8. I think a big part of it is because these seasons were shorter and both felt very rushed. There were parts of S8 that I liked, especially in the first half, but overall, it was a pretty damn disappointing end to such a great show.

Loving all these conflicting reactions.

It had pacing issues, especially Episode 4, but I loved the ending so much that it really makes up for those issues in a lot of ways to me.
