Considering I call myself a Ghost Town Ninja around here, I've not been very good at that over the past year (mostly due to being busy IRL). I'm a member of spots that haven't been updated in years - some haven't had any contributions in my own Fanpop lifetime! So I'm going to try and find some nice contributions for those spots to liven them up and give them some love.

I also want to try and contribute to every spot I'm a member of at some point this year (even the ones that are active anyway), in terms of adding new content and responding to/acknowledging content that others have added.

Basically, I'll be making sure that all the spots I'm in will have something happening to them this year!

My reasoning is the same as glelsey's. I have a hard time finding the time to add new content with my real life being so busy, but this year I really want to focus on coming back, and hopefully bringing some others with me. After spending so much time creating spots and not updating them, I feel like I've let those spots down. Time to come back and bring some more action to these spots.

Oh, and a little comment for the people who only want medals. I think you all need to take Hermione Granger's advice seriously and need to sort out your priorities. ;)

And earning more gold - that pretty much happens automatically with more contributions. Hopefully medals too, but that isn't exactly something I can control.

Maybe I'm pathetic, but I haven't got any in over 2 years & I truly miss them...

^I kinda thought that they stopped doing them. That the gold system was a way to silently stop the medal system.

^That wasn't how gold was explained. They said it would just be more detailed than medals, because it focuses on specific contributions instead of just clubs.

^I know that's what they SAID, but since medals don't really seem to be given out to anyone anymore, I felt like they were trying to transition to the gold aspect. That way there's no way for someone to say "I've contributed more but don't have what they have" and that sort of thing. Trying to be more fair, and setting a limit of 200 a day while they were at it. :D

^I'm still getting medals, as are a bunch of link. They're still coming, they're just slower and less predictable because they're calculated differently.

^Some people are still getting medals recently. Medals are also still upgrading.

I wouldn't say it's a resolution, but it's inevitable. I got a new job that will take up much more of my time.

I've never participated in an icon contest, but I've been meaning to. They seem v fun and creative.
