did Mavis died or she is still here?

If somebody said Mavis died then tell me why if no then im fine.

Mavis still not dead.She is kept in a magical container but if she gets out of the container she will die.I dont know why but makarov is protecting the container.

I am currently uncertain, but I know she is still dead since she looks like a little kid about over 50 years have past by. Not to mention that the second S-Class Promotional Trial is to find Mavis grave.
