can anyone tell me if the manga is like the anime?

i have started reading the fairy tail manga and i really enjoy it but i was wondering if it is anything like the anime can anyone tell me?

i know the anime came from manga but sometimes animes are different from the mangas they come from and thank you :)

well episode 125 is not on the manga...like the others say the anime follows the plot of the manga but sometimes Hiro mashima will always have surprises for us!!
