Emo Question

HELP?

ok, im sort of turning goth, i just like it. But i heard that if you're goth, & you're "emotional" then you're emo? idk, but like i guess im very emotional, i get sad/depressed/mad easily? does this mean i can be considered emo? i dont have to cut myself do i? no offense to anyone that does, its just not for me. i need help! (i hope im not just hearing stereotypes, am i?)

Emo is a state of mind. Emo and goth are different things, emotional is emo and goth is a style. Nope you don't need to cut yourself, people do it cause.. They feel a rush or they're troubled I don't there are many reasons why people do it. But um yea:)
