Pretty in Pink originally had a different ending with Andie ending up with Duckie instead of Blane. Test audiences didn't like this ending, so they went back and filmed an alternate ending, which is the ending that went to theatres and video/dvd.

What do you think? Do you think the movie would have ended better had she and Duckie gotten together or do you like that they changed the ending?

Seriously, should Andie have ended up with Blane after everything that happened? After she dumped her before prom and made up a lame excuse that he already asked someone?

Then you have to ask: can you fall in love with a friend, someone you've always thought of all a brother/sister?

Of course there is always the option that she could have ended up alone. If neither men were right for her.
