Really? I heard a rumor for a long time that JK said that Draco had a secret crush on Hermione, but I've never seen the interview. Do you have link to where she said that?

I asked the same question, but I heard the interview was removed, (I don't know why) but she said:

"Draco Malfoy had feelings for Hermione throughout the Series, ever since he laid eyes on her, however he was unable to show his feelings due to Hermione's Muggle-Born heritage"

SHE SO SHOULD HAVE! Then Draco would have saved Hermione from his own aunt and parents in the 7th book and it would have been amazing!

Draco and Hermione are entirely different people - and I would've failed to have enjoyed Hermione's character had she ended up with Draco. Ron, too, liked Hermione since the first time he laid eyes on her, and he's the better match.

^ First off, don't come to this spot if you're going to hate, okay? Secondly, being different people is a good thing because if someone is a lot like you, you butt heads and don't get along. Thirdly, I don't like Hermione's character when she's Ron and there is nothing to indicate that he liked her since he "first laid eyes on her" because it was never mentioned in the books or by JK. It's your opinion that he's a much better match, but I think Draco is.

Romione would have never worked out Ron and Hermione is completely opposites. Ron wasn't so upper for smart talking in a conversation. but Draco seems to match her intelligent mind and speech. Ron was more of the type of man that.... I just like Roavender instead of Romione it seems so right for Dramiome

I would like to see evidence that supported this claim from J.K.Rowling as I certainly wouldn't believe it otherwise. Perhaps it's a made-up claim. Just saying the interview is removed isn't good enough.
