The cool fall air was taking it's place in London and that meant school was starting up again. But for wizards and witches, it wasn't an ordinary school.
Hermione Granger was in her bedroom packing her stuff to leave to Hogwarts the next morning. She was exited about seeing her friends Harry, Ron, and Ginny and learning new things. Hermione loved school. She especially loved magic.
You see, Hogwarts is no ordinary school. Hogwarts is a school of witchcraft and wizardry. Not only is there magic, there is also magical creatures such as unicorns, dragons, mermaids,
giants and so much more. All of it interested Hermione and she learned as much of it as possible.
Hermione looked at her watch and saw that it was almost past her bedtime. She finished packing and went to bed. She didn't want to sleep because she was too exited for the next morning to come.
The next morning, Hermione woke up by the sound of her annoying alarm clock. She looked at the time and it was 7:30 am. She finally realized that her most exiting day of the year had finally come. She popped her head off her pillow, got dressed then ran downstairs to find her muggle mother making breakfast.
"Hello Hermione. Did you sleep well?" Mrs.Granger smiled.
"Yeah."
"Are you exited?" Mrs.Granger asked, already knowing the answer.
"YES!!" Hermione grinned.
"That's good. Do you have all your stuff packed? Do you need anything?" Mrs.Granger asked.
"Yeah, my stuff is packed and no, I'm good. I've already packed everything I need. Especially since it's my last year at Hogwarts." Hermione but her bottom lip in disappointment. She loved Hogwarts and it was way too depressing to think about it coming to an end for her. How would she see all her friends? It wasn't like they lived right next door. And what will happen after she leaves Hogwarts? What will she do? Where would she go? Harry has already killed Voldemort so he's out of the picture...
"Are you okay?" Mrs.Granger asked, noticing her daughters sad expression.
"I'm fine..." Hermione said quickly.
"Are you sure?"
Hermione just nodded. She looked over her mothers shoulder and noticed that she was making scrambled eggs and French toast.
"Are you hungry?" Her mother asked. Mrs.Granger was always asking questions and she never stopped talking. Maybe that's where Hermione get's it from.
"A little bit." Hermione starred at the uncooked eggs sizzling on the cooking pan.
After few minutes of complete silence, Hermione's breakfast was ready to be eaten. She ate her food quickly then looked at her watch. It was just about time to leave for the Hogwarts Express.
"Mum, if we don't go now we're gonna miss the train." Hermione said.
"Okay. Get your stuff and then we'll head out."
***
Hermione hugged her mother goodbye then got on the train filled with wizards and witches. She was walking along looking for an empty seat when she finally saw Harry and Ron.
"Hey 'Mione!" Ron called for her.
"Hey guys." Hermione smiled then sat next to the red-headed Weasley boy and hugged him.
"Seems like you've forgotten about me." Harry grinned.
"Never." Hermione pulled him in for a warm hug. "How was your summers?" She asked.
"Good. Yours?" Ron and Harry said at the same time.
"Good...?" Hermione giggled.
From the corner of her eye, she saw a platinum blonde boy walking past her. She looked to her left and saw the one and only, Draco Malfoy. Something about him was different. Was it that he was taller? No. That can't be it. Was his hair blonder (if that's even possible)? No. Not it either. Was he more attractive? Ew! What was she thinking? She shook her disgusting thoughts away and payed her attention back to Harry and Ron, who were staring at her as if they've seen a ghost(even tho they already seen more then one).
"You okay, Hermione?" Harry asked.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"
In dis belief, Harry shrugged then stared at Ron, who was staring at Harry with a confused sort of look. What was her problem?
