If Draco and Hermione really did get paired in the books and Movies would we now be shipping Ron and Hermione the same way we ship Draco and Hermione now?

it wouldnt be as exciting but it would be cuter than ron and hermione are in canon. dramione is forbidden whereas romione would be the logical choice seeing as theyre on the same side.

One reason why I do ship Dramione is because it's unexpected. It's not like those typical pairings where you know who is going to end up with who. I can't tell you enough how I strongly dislike pairings that are so obvious and you know are going to happen. I also like how their story could have been. Their relationship could have been so different from the "safe" story that a lot of people tend to stick by, and it would have been so perfect! If Dramione was canon, it wouldn't be obvious, and it would have been a good plot twister rather than having Hermione be paired with Harry or Ron. So I wouldn't ship Romione like I do Dramione because I like to be surprised. But it wouldn't be that much exciting as it is now because they already would have a set-in-stone story and you couldn't elaborate on their relationship, like people do now. I would still ship them 100% though. :)

I probably wouldn't ship them as hard as I do know, but I know I still would ship them because of the reasons other people answered before me.

I don't like canon at all... mostly because it's always so obvious who they'll end up with. I'm not sure. If JK made it point blank that Hermione would end up with Draco, I probably wouldn't like them that much, but if it wasn't obvious at all and it was mostly shocking, I would still ship them so hard. So to answer your question, I wouldn't ship Romione like I do Dramione now because the story of the relationship counts too, and Ron/Hermione's story was pretty plain, but I would actually like Romione instead of not caring about them, like I do now.
