i think it's because he knows how much his mother loves him . But sometimes he's got the impression that his dad is disappointed about him . So i think he love him more because he's not sure of his love toward him . that's why he act and try to think like him

I think he's always loved Narcissa more, because she cares more about him than father does. That's just my opinion. However, he does take pride about his father and what position he holds, since whenever something bad tends to happen to him, he threatens the opposer by "When my father hears about this..." :)
