Last year Christmas special left us crying into our puddings when Matthew Crawley died in a shock car accident. This year we're hoping for an altogether more joyful affair, but something tells us we may have to keep a tissue close by just incase.
Speaking at BBC America’s BAFTA Party in West Hollywood, the show’s creator Julian Fellowes said: “I think it will be fun to get everyone together, and move it to a larger scale because you have got more money to spend.”
“I love the way it’s all unraveling,” Ms. Dockery said. “There is a feeling of people moving on with their lives and the sense of the aristocracy as a kind of endangered species.”
