Hi guys, this sites pretty empty. What you're going to read are my favourite Don Bluth's leading ladies from Don Bluth's movies, are you ready?
Anya/ Anastasia Romanov
When I first watched the movie back in 1998, I did not know that it was base on a true story and an urban legend about her. It wasn't until 2007 that she did in fact died with the rest of the family, and that it was her sister Marie and Alexei whose bones had been discovered. A tragic way to end a dynasty!
Thumberlina
I watched this movie back in 1993, at that time I did not know that Jodi Benson, who voiced Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid. Also did the voice of the title character, this movie doesn't sound like an Alan Menken to me. It sounds very original and I love all of the songs, especially when the frog sang and dance to their number!
Anne-Marie
She does look a lot like Snow White or shall I say, her daughter? Sadly to say, the actress Judith Barsi who voiced her died at the hands of her alcoholic father, who would later committed suicide. Anne-Marie was a very sad young girl as I can tell that she really had some character development throughout the story, but I'm glad that she managed to find a happy home as well as a happy life.
Dancing Bears, Painted Wings
Only three make to through the cut, do you agree with my choices?
