My first dog was a Dachshund, but I didn't adopt him because he resembled any dog I saw on a movie or show. My current dogs are Gerberian Shepskies. My oldest one, my parents adopted for me as a surprise. They knew I wanted a dog since I lost my Dachshund. My youngest one is a rescue.
