Maybe I just missed something or I don't remember it properly. River/The Doctor

In Forest Of The Dead River told the Doctor his real name which he would have only used in case of marriage, right? But then when the wedding actually did happen (The Wedding of River Song) River tells Amy that he didn't in fact whisper his name but ( as has been said "The Doctor Lies") he whispered "Look into my eye" and there she saw that it's in fact a Teselecta. Maybe I just missed something but .. how or when did her get The Doctor's name then? Sorry if I'm not making any sense :D

A question that must never, ever be answered." The question that must never be answered is "doctor who?" so I'm guessing he finally answers the question and tells us his name. The wedding was just a red hering. You didn't miss anything.

I'm not sure. I'm not to the wedding of river song yet but I'm pretty sure it's because of crossed timelines. I also saw some quotes from that episode and the doctor did tell river his name. That's just of what little knowledge I have of this episode. But I'm sure it's because of that whole crossed timeline thing. I hoped this kinda helped.

From the real world: Moffat probably will use this plot for the 50th anniversary. He's been setting up the question "Doctor who?" insinuating that his name it's actaully very important

It may well be that The Doctor can only reveal his name under another circumstance, it's never been stated (to my knowledge) exactly when The Doctor might reveal it. Perhaps when he dies, or when he "retires," his 1500th birthday, anything really. River and The Doctor can and probably will meet again, they both are time travellers and quite alive.
