Why would be Elsa selfish? 'cause she wanted to protect her sister?

She is one of the most selfless DPs.

She did leave the kingdom while ruling it was her responsibility, but she panicked and thought everybody hated her and they would not want her to stay. She did not do it for selfish reasons.

NO WAY!!!!! She locked herself up to protect her sister, FROM HERSELF!

She definitely can be. I was really shocked when I saw Frozen and she made Marshmallow to 'take care of' her sister! I had known from publicity stills about Marshmallow already, but I just assumed when she made her castle she had made him then to be her guard kind of. I didn't know she made him to throw them out, and he almost killed them!

But it's mostly her attempts at being selfLESS that ironically lead her to be selfish. Her running away starts out as trying to save herself from a possible mob (although that probably would not have happened) and save people from her powers, to the whole Let It Go thing where she decides she doesn't care what happens in Arendelle.

She never seemed selfish to me. Scared, insecure, and serious, yes but not selfish. She left the kingdom so she wouldn't harm anyone and didn't let Anna marry Hans because, c'mon, that was unwise of Anna. If she is selfish for wanting to be free then all the other princesses are selfish too because they all want something that they don't have in the beginning of the movie. They are just human.

It's funny how people who picked "yes" are afraid to comment. Do they think we are going to kill them or what? Or maybe they know that they're not right.
Do we need to write an other article to make people understand that she isn't selfish? This is not an opinion, this is a fact. It's a face that she is not selfish.

Okay no offense to truth76 but just because those things are apperently selfish that does not make Elsa herself selfish first of all. We have all done a few selfish things in our lives. Next thing, Elsa did not do that with a selfish intention. She did it intending to save everyone from her, you call that selfish? Next thing, after living a life battling a depression, how do you expect her to not lose her sanity keeping all her emotions bottled up for that long and run away?

Oh my gosh she's not selfish or arrogant and if she was arrogant it seems more like awesome sassiness! She did all she did to protect her family her haters are making stuff up from what I see. Her parents were selfish for making her feel like a freak and stay in her room because they didn't want to accept her. Look at what happened in the end: everyone realized she wasn't a monster and was happy with her that could have been her whole life.
