Disney Princess of the Month

UPDATE

THESE are the official order set the disney princess of the month calender.

PLEASE vote on one.
A.
January-Jasmine
Februray-Tiana
March-Pocahontas/Mulan/Tiana [newest princesses]
April-Snow White
May-Ariel
June-Pocahontas
July-Snow White/Aurora/Cinderella [classic princesses]
August-Cinderella
September-Belle
October-Mulan
November-Ariel/Belle/Jasmine [renaissance princesses]
December-Aurora

This one is the most compmlicated to explain. I grouped the princesses into threes:

1.Snow White/Cinderella/Aurora
2.Ariel/Belle/Jasmine
3.Pocahontas/Mulan/Tiana

Then I grouped the months into 3's
1.April/May/June
2.August/September/October
3.December/January/February

I tried to take a princess from each group and put them in order. So I took Snow White, Ariel, and Pocahontas and put them into one set of months, etc with the other groups, with a month in between to split them up.

I think this will create the most variety instead of having to put the classics all in order, then the newest, then the oldest. That's my reasoning for this one.

This is clearly in order. It's easier because the three princesses months just cap off the three months beforehand...HOWEVER... it's a little bland to me.

This is self explanatory.


Note: I could start Snow White off in January, and split it off from there, but we would end up starting in April with a three princess month, and I would rather start off with just one princess, to make it more solid.

Here's what I think.

January- Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora
February- Ariel, Belle, Jasmine
March- Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana
April- Aurora (she seems like a springtime princess, flowers, nature, etc.)
May- Mulan (like a blooming flower saving China)
June- Ariel (the sea, underwater, general excited attitude)
July- Tiana (her location, mainly, her status as a frog)
August- Jasmine (Perfect in all respects, from personality to living place)
September- Belle (She seems very autumnal to me, when she was in the village it was autumn, her clothes seem to be autumnal, and she's a bookworm)
October- Cinderella (pumpkin,Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!)
November- Pocahontas (Leaves, later fall, sometimes leaves a late-fall presence, chilling but not freezing)
December- Snow White (her name, prays in her movie (Christmas), bright, festive personality)

I've actually changed my mind, I think this is a good idea. It'll make the year go quicker aswell! (I want my exams to end!!)

January - Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella
February - Ariel, Belle, Jasmine
March - Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana
April - Snow White (I think she should be in the Spring as I associate her with flowers and newborn animals for some reason)
May - Aurora (Same reason as Snow White)
June - Tiana (This was random, I've never seen her movie and June was the only other option)
July - Ariel (Her under the sea/beachlife reminds me of Summer)
August - Jasmine (Summer is hot, Jasmine is fiery!)
September - Mulan (Not quite sure why though?)
October - Pocahontas (The leaves blowing in the wind remind me of Autumn/Fall. It's also quite chilly I think but not as cold as Winter)
November - Cinderella (She reminds me of Autumn/Fall for some reason)
December - Belle (She just reminds me of Christmas. Her name means "Beauty" just like the beauty of Christmas. My favourite Princess, my favourite time of the year.)

I think it should go in order, too. If we did it another way (i.e. voting), chances are Ariel and Belle would be among the first, and fans of the lesser-loved princesses (such as Cinderella and Aurora) would probably get upset. I think going in order would cause the least amount of arguments.

I think it should go in order as well. It might help me finish up on my Creating Snow White and Cinderella articles and I can say I finished the series (with exception to Tiana). It also will just help making questions and picks easier for me as well.

We should do three princesses, then a spare, three princesses, then a spare etc. I like that idea. But one thing I don't think people should do necessarily is make the princess of the month their icon. I like it when we all have cool, unique icons that express what we're feeling at the moment. Other than that, I'm on board with this idea.

I'm really confused, but my inclination would be for each princess to go with a season that made sense. So Belle for one of the colder months like Feb, and then Snow White for a spring, so maybe May....like that. :P

Having said that, I like B best. :) It makes the most sense to me. Somehow.

Pocahontas and Mulan are renaissance princesses too...
I just hate how they get excluded from that title. If you just make it in order of when they were made but call it 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, it wouldn't irritate me though.

I can change it to modern princesses. I just didn't know how else to break it up. I could call Ariel/Jasmine/Belle the fearsome threesome, just because they were in 3 of disney's four most popular films! (little mermaid, beauty and the beast, aladdin, lion king)
