What I always do is write a description of my article at the top, than put the pictures down at the bottom and write a description of each picture under them. See some of my articles for as an example.

Hope I understand what you mean. Well, in that place of the text where you want this picture to be, you put the tag [img<#> <horiz-align> <size>] where <#> is the number of the bottom image,
<horiz-align> is left, center, or right,
and <size> is large, medium, or small.

So if you want your picture to be at the left, and normal sized, you should type [img<#> left, large].
