Hello all! Many apologies for running a bit behind on this one. The holidays are always chaos incarnate.
Cinderella was our Princess of the Month for December, and here is a collection of thoughts on why we adore her. Many thanks to those who submitted comments!
I absolutely love when Cindy's snarky side peeks through, like when she makes a quip about the "music lesson". It's adorable but also rounds out her character. <3 ~MaidofOrleans
She teaches me to DREAM BIG!!! ~deedragongirl
She is kind, hard-working, and a princess from my childhood that I still love today. ~LMH5113
Her endurance and that she never stopped fighting. In the small or the big way. The moment when she has to tell her stepmother that she won't go to the ball and walks away head high while her stepmother does her usual gaslighting, it shows so much inner strength. And I love it when she closes the door into Lucifer's butt. ~Swanpride
Her strength. That is what *true* strength looks like, showing your enemies you refuse to sink to their level, that they aren't worthy of your rage. Her big heart. She protects her animals at the risk of getting herself in trouble daily. Her sense of humor. She is obviously no doormat as some think; her snark is more subtle than what most people recognize or like. It's incredible she still has the ability to make good natured jokes with her friends. Her realism. Her story is very relatable to a lot of people as an underdog and someone facing oppression. Even her flaws are reakistic. She has a lot of spine yet she does mope sometimes (desrvedly so, though). She can be a bit bitter, also understandably. She's a well written character and excellent role model for anyone. ~AudreyFreak
her strength and also same her sense of humor she used sarcasm in the movie. i like also how brave she is and is not scared at all of lady tremaine. ~magicworld_88
I love how patient and kind she is and how appreciative she was of everything she was given and all the help she got. I also love that she had all these little clothes handy for any new mouse who came to the house ~BB2010
I love how kind she is to the animals. I also like how patient and hopeful she is. <3 ~sunnyfields
