Hey there! I'm isabellagirl033 and as you all are well aware Cinderella has been adapted many times into live-action movies though only some manage to truely be a hit. I'm going to break down some of my favourite portrayals into my Top 5.

5. Hillary Duff, A Cinderella Story
Despite it's cringe-worthiness and lack of loyalty to it's source, I still managed to enjoy the movie. Tween icon Hillary Duff is the last thing that comes into my mind when I think of Cinderella but she made a convincing one at that. I think this spot goes to Hillary Duff mostly due to Jennifer Coolidge and Regina King at her company.
4. Drew Barrymore, Ever After
Possibly the most realistic Cinderella adaptation ever, it includes no magic yet I dont miss any Bibbity Bobbity Boos or magic carriages. Drew Barrymore makes a perfectly inspiring and entertaining Cinderella especially considering that the movie was released when most of the female characters were petite and frail Mary-Sues. I applaud the film for it's realistic and historical approach.
3. Anne Hathaway, Ella Enchanted
While not exactly a Cinderella movie, it earns a spot on this list for being one of my favourite childhood movies and including some elements from Cinderella such as Fairy Godmother and the Magic Mirror. Anne Hathaway as Cinderella is surprisingly adorable, radiant and lovable.
2. Anna Kendrick, Into the Woods
Into the Woods gives us a dark Cinderella with Anna Kendrick playing the role. The character is only loosely based on Cinderella but Anna Kendrick made everyone fell in love with her character with her usual sassy and quirky personality.
1. Lily James, Cinderella
Cinderella (2015) stayed true to it's source material and the same can be said for the main lead. Lily James played an amazingly perfect and charming Cinderella. She had it all to portray Cinderella from her blonde locks to her kind nature.
